Weekly Reflection 2

This week I performed some mathematical analysis, in addition to which I showed the harm and addictive nature that gambling brings. Betting on soccer is inherently exciting and exhilarating, and participants often experience an irresistible sense of tension and pleasure in gambling. This sense of excitement can release large amounts of dopamine, leading to a strong sense of satisfaction, leading to the pursuit of more betting behavior. Over time, people will gradually lose their rational perception of risks and consequences, forming a strong psychological dependence from which they cannot extricate themselves.

Secondly, betting on soccer is a kind of gambling, which can cause huge economic losses to individuals and families. Betting on soccer is a high-risk investment behavior, and participants are often attracted by the possibility of making profits, but in fact, most people will eventually lose their money. The increased stakes and frequency that often accompany betting on soccer make it difficult for participants to control their commitment, resulting in serious financial problems. These financial losses can not only cause problems in the lives of individuals, but can also break up and negatively impact entire families.

In addition, betting on soccer can cause other social problems. Some players may resort to unlawful means, such as stealing, robbing or engaging in other illegal activities, in order to raise money for gambling. In addition, gambling can lead to domestic violence, mental health problems, and the breakdown of social relationships. These problems can not only cause suffering to individuals, but can also be a burden to society.

In short, gambling is hugely harmful and addictive. Participants are easily drawn to the excitement and thrill of betting on soccer and find it difficult to extricate themselves. Gambling can also bring economic losses and other social problems to individuals and families. Therefore, we should be aware of the dangers of betting on soccer and raise our self-awareness to avoid getting caught in the mire. If someone has fallen into gambling, he or she should seek help and receive proper rehabilitation in time to get rid of the hardship caused by gambling
